Straminella is a well-delimited, recently resurrected genus segregated from Lecanora s. lat. and largely corresponding with the L. varia-group of earlier authors. For further details see Ivanovich-Hichins & al. (2025). The key includes 5 species, 3 of which should be looked for in Italy.
