Zeora is a recently-resurrected genus segregated from Lecanora s.lat., differing from Straminella in the esorediate and warted thallus, the often finally excluded, ecorticate apothecial margins, and the absence of psoromic and fumarprotocvetraric acids. For further details see Ivanovich-Hichins & al. (2025). The key includes 10 species, 3 of which should be looked for in Italy.
