KEYS TO THE LICHENS OF ITALY -102) ANZINA Pier Luigi Nimis Apparatus of images: Andrea Moro - Software and databases: Stefano Martellos Anzina is a monotypic genus of the Agyriales (Lumbsch & al. 2001), including two varieties of a muscicolous, corticolous or lignicolous species occurring on acid substrata in bogs and forests, with a mainly boreal-montane distribution (Scheidegger 1985). This is a key to the two varieties, one of which should be looked for in the Italian Alps. References Lumbsch H.T., Schmitt I., Döring H. & Wedin M. 2001. ITS sequences data suggest variability of ascus types and support ontogenetic characters as phylogenetic discriminators in the Agyriales (Ascomycota). Mycological Research, 105: 265-274.
