This is a first draft of a key to all lichens with a cyanobacterial main photobiont potentially occurring in Italy. Species with cephalodia and with a green main photobiont are excluded. The key includes 249 infrageneric taxa, i.e. all species known to occur in Italy, plus several species which are known from neighbouring areas in the Alps or in the Mediterranean Region.
