Description: Thallus inapparent, not lichenized, immersed in the thalli of Cladonia-species. Apothecia arthonioid, emarginate, 0.1-0.2 mm across, scattered or clustered, with a brownish black, often greenish-pruinose disc. Proper exciple poorly developed; epithecium olivaceous, K+ intensifying green; hymenium pale brown to colourless, 25-35 μm high, I+ red, K/I+ blue; paraphysoids thread-like and flexuous, branched, the apical cells 2.5-5.5 μm wide; hypothecium pale to medium brown.
