Note: a poorly known silicicolous species described from the Pyrenees and formerly wrongly considered to be a synonym of the American B. vernicoma (see Nimis 1993: 146), probably related to Amandinea punctata (see Nordin 1999). The record from Italy is somehow dubious and the whole complex is in need of revision.
