Description: Thallus inapparent, not lichenized, the hyphae developing on the phyllocladia of Stereocaulon-species. Apothecia arthonioid, black, epruinose, 0.1-0.3(-0.5) mm across, with a flat to slightly convex disc, without a distinct proper margin.
