Description: Thallus crustose, endosubstratic to thinly episubstratic, (0.2-)0.3-0.5(-0.6) mm thick), smooth, continuous to finely rimose, brownish orange to pale yellow-orange, sometimes blue-grey in marginal parts, sometimes delimited by a dark prothalline line, with numerous, round to irregular, up to 0.8(-1.2) mm wide, concave to convex-tuberculate soralia bearing grey-white soredia; the soralia are often delimited by a thin, raised thalline rim. Medulla I-. Apothecia and pycnidia unknown. Photobiont chlorococcoid. Spot tests: medulla and soralia K+ yellow, C-, KC-, P+ orange, K/UV-. Chemistry: stictic acid.
