Pseudostroma not much differentiated from the thallus, c. 1–3 mm diam., ellipsoid to elongated or branched, internally pigmented with bright yellow crystals. Ostioles eccentric, fused, black, surrounded by a c. 0.1 mm wide ochraceous ring. Hamathecium not inspersed, IKI–. Ascospores 8/ascus, hyaline, 6–7-septate, 32–35 × 7–8 μm, longellipsoid, without distinctly thickened septa, not surrounded by a gelatinous sheath. Pycnidia not observed.
