The 611 short biographies of lichenologists who were active mainly before the end of the 20th century, published by Jørgensen & Nimis (2026), form the baseline of the current database. It is now possible to add further biographies, or to propose additions and/or corrections to the existing ones. Anyone interested in contributing is invited to write to P.L. Nimis at
